Anybody know whether the Asus PA32UCX requires an i/o capture device (like AJA or BMD) for use as a video grading monitor with a 2017 iMac 27” (TB3) and Final Cut Pro X? Thanks in advance!
Considering the display doesn't have any pro video I/O capability I'm going to say no. It does have TB3 input so I'm guessing it would work similarly (if not identically) to this:
Connect your Final Cut Pro for Mac system to a Pro Display XDR, and use the Pro Display XDR as a professional reference monitor for HDR color correction.
