Bent pins cause excessive heat?

My desktop PC consists of Intel's i7-8700 non-K, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and Asus Prime Z370-A. It runs Windows 10 Pro. The CPU used to be cooled by Corsair's H80i v2 liquid AIO but now it is cooled by Noctua's NH-U12S.

Both coolers keep the CPU cool when they're active and idling in Windows gives something like 35 degrees celcius. However there's always a clear temp spike to around 60 degrees celcius whenever I open a program on it and both coolers go to high RPM's even when I use a simple program such as Firefox. Also, Ubuntu on VirtualBox runs somewhat slow to my taste. Trying to watch a Youtube video on virtual Ubuntu is laggy af. I've set the amont of memory to 8GB and CPU cores to 6 in VirtualBox but I haven't tested it after this. Inte's Virtualization is turned on. I've run Intel's diagnostics tool and it says everything is fine in the system. My laptop with i5-6300HQ runs much quieter and cooler with medium load than my desktop PC. Okay, the laptop CPU has a lower TDP value.

When I assembled my computer, I remember paying attention to something that looked like a dark spot on the motherboard's CPU socket. I tried to closer but it was so small, so I could not figure out what it was. I've been lately thinking, was it a bent pin? Could a single bent pin cause thermal issues in the CPU? Or am I just too paranoid about this?

(I listed this under motherboard because I thought this might be caused by a bent pin)
