Last Friday we noticed that I wasn't getting her texts (every other type of communication between our phones was working fine).
I revisited the topic again today (Friday and Saturday were pretty chaotic), and worked through the possibilities to test:
We could both ring each other, no issue.
I could text her and it was received, I could text other people without issue.
She could text my work phone (same network as my personal phone, also Android, different network to hers), and other people.
She rebooted her phone, sent another test to my personal phone, still nothing.
I rebooted my phone, another test sent from hers, nothing.
I emptied the cache of the Messages app on my phone, force-restarted the app, no difference.
She emptied the cache of her Messages app, force-restarted the app, suddenly I rapidly received at least 20 texts as the problem apparently started on Wednesday 🙂
