Question Boards with Digital to Analog Converters

Hi everyone,
I would like to build a system where data is stored in say DDR5 memories and the values read are sent to a very high speed DAC. Are there any boards that comes with slots to put your own DAC or is it that DACs come with their own board and the two boards are integrated together using some form of wires?

There are all sorts of specialty DAC cards on the market for PCI, PCI Express, USB, etc. There is not going to be any industry standard boards that feature some socket for DAC IC. Even in the specialty market, those boards are not sold as off the shelf components for general 'system integrator' purposes they are designed for particular systems or applications.

Why do you need DDR5 memory ? How many ram in MB or GB ? And how fast is a "very high speed DAC" ? You mean like 100ksps ? or 1 Megasample per second ? And how many bits ? 8 bit, 12 bit, 16 bits.
Sometimes you can get by with lesser hardware requirements ? Which is cheaper and more eaqsy to use or build.
