I blame both parties here. People should have gone and voted no matter what, but helping arm and enable literal genocide is a pretty horrific thing. The Dems have relied too long on pretending to be good and really wanting to help Americans and being against war - but relying instead on just being better than the pure evil fuckers in the other party and gaslighting every single progressive in the D party - again and again.

A lot of people are sick of being taken for granted by the Dems, constantly lied to, and gaslighted - and I don't blame them. I urged anyone like that to vote though. Everybody I know who can't stand the Dems in my circle, went out and voted Harris. But I know mostly fairly smart people lol

The Dems also FAFO. The people that stayed home also FAFO'd.

I mean literally arming and funding and permitting a genocide and ethnic cleansing is not some little small thing to sweep to the side either.

This is also why Israel and it's Zionist philosophy are so so evil in this world. They have such a network and influence that they fuck up so much of the West with their evil. They own the Dem establishment, who is also guilty of collaborating, but Israel has the money and resources to destroy you if you dare oppose their Zionist jihad and genocidal tendencies.

Of course we should be mad at them, we should also be mad at the party that has gaslit us and been a terrible opposition party at the same time to boot. If the Dems were even just moderately capable at their jobs, that would have helped a lot too. They both bear the blame.

btw I hope people haven't noticed that the Obamacare subsides have never been brought up this year. The Dems let it slide, they are too busy finding ways to support genocide, oppose progressive candidates, and be the meekest most pathetic opposition party we could have at this time - they are ready to sit and watch the SOTU under strict orders from leadership for no disruptions

Sticking with the incumbent is usually a safe bet and all, unless they are too enfeebled to present well on television. Winning the Presidency is a LOT about optics, and dying of old age is no good. Kamala was a terrible candidate in '20, remained a terrible candidate in '24, and Biden forced us to be stuck with the situation we had. It was no good, but it was all we had. The way things played out, the only way to secure '24 was to NOT nominate Biden in '20. But then we may have lost in '20.

I guess I mixed you up with someone else, my bad. That was a while back.

I was excited yes, because Biden was 100% going to lose. At least a change gave us hope, and it had to be her, not chosen by consultants since she was already a heartbeat away from the presidency. So I was very excited because we actually had a shot now, and hope is powerful.

But Biden and the Dem establishment fucked us over for way too long - the change came late, but also the establishment consultant class clearly designed a campaign to suck the progressiveness out of Kamala, and she went with it and still defends it. Between the lack of time and becoming Dem establishment nonsense - she lost.

Biden should have never been allowed to shut down a primary like an ordained king when he was in that bad a shape.

Some of that was the mad dog protection and hiding of his condition from the public eye. Of denying there even was a health problem.
P&N consensus early '24 was "Biden is fine, STFU and stop helping MAGA tear him down".

People generally were not ready to accept it. And it is highly unusual to need to usurp the incumbent in the first place. Plus, who is the leadership that would end up making that decision. And if they tried ahead of time, when a sizeable portion was denying the problem existed... wouldn't it just fracture the party and make it vulnerable? Who was going to stick their neck out to start a campaign that may not even be accepted?

Hindsight is easy, but that shit was messy.
