Info GPU on the backside of the mobo is the way

I am against it only because it would put tons of stuff in the landfill. The fact I can do a sleeper build with new parts plus easy airflow/fan mods in a Antec Alienware case circa 2002 or so is epic AF.

These cats know -
I have a pic of the full tower Chieftec knockoff I used for a build back around 2007? I need to dig that up.

The change isn't going to happen overnight. Both can co-exist. BTF is selling well enough for mobo and case makers to still be committed to it.

I think there's actually a use case now.

User can rest assured that if the GPU does go up in flames, it only hurts itself and maybe the PSU and mobo backside. All other components stay safe from any flames.

It's also a great idea to keep multiple PCIe x16/x8 slots on the backside so your entire GPU cluster is hidden from view, leading to a cleaner looking build.

They should just put it on a hinge on the bottom edge of the board. Then it can be on the front, back and any angle in between
