I got a suspension here a long time ago because a site I mentioned apparently had a rotating banner that sometimes had adult material. I think it was Red Dawn that got (un)lucky on a visit. I also got banned from a Russian language learning site because called some folks out on their politics. Other than that, just BF2 servers because my friend and I were too good in the helicopter.

I got a vacation here for linking to a "pirated" linux distro. Was it Linspire? Seems like a lot of people are confused about how the GPL works. I'd expect better from a tech site. Funny enough, both are out of business. Go proprietary, go broke :^P

Banned from reddit for joking about the piece of shit Hulk dying. Wasn't graphic, or even directly praising his death, but it was clear I could have cared less that he died. Never appealed it.

Recently got a temp ban on Reddit. Someone asked for self defense weapon ideas that is not a gun. Suggested cattle prod. Instant automatic ban and post removed. No explanation. Even the mods of the sub don't know why I got banned as it happened at the site wide level. Reddit is very left leaning and the idea of self defense tends to not sit well with lefties so guessing it was related to that. Next time I'll suggest flowers.

Someone posted a Thread here where the Title was the perfect response to the OP. Copy/Pasted the Title, it copied all the Code as well making it an active Link. "Loopback Link" was the Charge, 48 hours vacay. It was annoying.

I got banned from the techreport forums for asking technical questions while owning a computer-fixing business, and for disagreeing with a mod who seemingly believed that Windows Update is the be-all and end-all of computer security. I think the disagreement rubbed the mod up the wrong way, and the business bit was their excuse for giving me the heave-ho.

I have never be banned anywhere. Quite the opposite; this is the 3rd place I was recruited to moderate. Sparta kicking spammers and shills down the well, makes it all worthwhile. The guilty must be punished.
