Help !! canon ip3000 printer misdetect door closed

Even I opened the tray door but still getting following message and refuse to print:

"document printing cannot be executed because the paper output tray is closed. Open the paper
output tray. Printing will restart"

Anyone how to fix it ?
 
The output tray has a sensor somewhere, make sure you're extending the paper output tray as far as it goes....if you still have the error, the sensor either has something blocking it or is failing.
