Help on CPU/Mobo lanes

Is this correct? :
Hdd (sata3, SATA 6, M.2, U.2, DVD) take 4 lanes each
Peripherals (wifi cards, sound cards) take 4 lanes each
GPU #1 takes 16 lanes
GPU #2 tales 8 lanes
GPU #3 takes 4 lanes.
If the above is true do I need a CPU with 44 lanes to avoid switching??

One GPU is x16 , two are usually x8/x8 unless you go HEDT where you can get x16/x16 for 2 GPUs. There are sound cards that are x1. It comes down to how the motherboard manufacturers implement the chipset.
