Installed new cpu, no video signal?

Just installed an i7-860 in my old medion rig, however when I try to boot, it beeps 1 long and 2 short without any video signal from the graphics card(7850). First time installing a new cpu, fwiw.

Does anyone know what to do?

Try putting the old processor back and update the BIOS before trying again.

Just put the old cpu back in, same problem. Pc starts up, cpu and gpu seems to start with fans spinning, but no video signal to monitor. Though it might have reset to onboard graphics, but It's a medion oem board(ms 7708), so there's no igp output on the motherboard i can test. There's 2 jumpers on the board though, but i don't know what the second one does.

Been scouting the internet for guides, but couldn't find any. Afraid I might have bricked it :/

Tried searching both Medion and Aldi's webpages, couldn't find anything though.

Cpu is working! Yeah Buddy!

Borrowed a 7600gt from a friend, runs great. Whenever i try to use my 7850, however, the fan turns on, but i still get 1 long and 2 short beeps. Will try it in another pc, might need to try baking it.
