US military commanders have been invoking extremist Christian rhetoric about biblical “end times” to justify involvement in the Iran war to troops, according to complaints made to a watchdog group.
One complainant, identified as a noncommissioned officer (NCO) in a unit that could be deployed “at any moment to join” operations against Iran, told MRFF in a complaint viewed by the Guardian that their commander had “urged us to tell our troops that this was ‘all part of God’s divine plan’ and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ”.
“He said that ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth’”, the NCO added.

I have been warning about how Christianity would be used as a justification for satisfaction of a death wish created be childhood traumatic events as the real roots of the concept of Armageddon contained in the Bible since I started posting here.
Of course just as people will seek death when stressful events in life threatens to roust those suppressed feelings in the form of back-handed suicide, it is that ancient projection of those traumatic events that brainwashed believers will turn to, the notion of Armageddon, to hide from themselves the self hatred they feel that makes death sound better than life. The self hater has one priority, never to relive or remember what they went through to mold them into perfectly normal insanity. Awake or say goodbye to the world. Thanks for taking everyone else with you.

So propose imposing sanctions on the US and Israel at the UN, or are you just talk, talk, talk.
I do often express strong anti-genocide viewpoints and I can only guess that some ppl whose world view was entirely built around 'official narratives', US news networks, MSM, etc may find it jarring to have that world view shattered or challenged by new info or context that may show otherwise.
For ppl who have grown up all their lives believing they were the 'good guys' and supporting a 'heroic' country that was always 'defending itself' against well established "bad guys" to suddenly find that was not necessarily the case, must indeed be quite uncomfortable to them. Some may remain in denial or cling to their beliefs that it aint so and anyone expressing otherwise are simply not 'pillars of sanity'.
But you can return to Rachel Maddow and be ensconced in your comfort zone once again.

IMO the more the US loses, the better... at least insofar as the GQP needs to lose as many times as it takes for the lesson to sink in to not be Israel's lapdog and that in going to war you stand to lose something (hopefully the entire US electorate's trust in them).
Hopefully they don't essentially bankrupt the US's military and leave the US wide open for China to start swinging their weight around.
