Live view HD video for exhibition

Hi,

I'm planning an exhibition about photogrammetry and need to display live video on two monitors each with their own camera positioned above like a webcam. The reason something other than a webcam is required is to show one zoom display and one wide angle display to show the distortion in people's faces to them in real time. The video doesn't need to be recorded, simply streamed back through the display. The resolution is not paramount but 720p would be sufficient. My original idea was to set up a Canon 700D streaming through the hdmi port directly to the display but the camera overheats after around 20 minutes and it cant be good for the sensor.

Any possible solution would be greatly appreciated.
