Question Micron DDR chip of same capacity with different die configurations

Hi
I have a doubt. I have 2 different DDR chips of micron technology with each capable of 4GB capacity with dual channel. But both have different die configurations. One have 2 die and the another one have 4 die. Which one should I select? What is the role of die here?

What are you talking about exactly? Are you asking what RAM to buy for your system? Or do you already have the RAM? Also what kind of RAM? As in DDR4 or DDR3? Laptop or desktop? What are the specs for the system you are putting it in?

I already have two different LPDDR chips. Both are 4GigaByte capacity chips. But chip1 have two die configuration and chip2 have 4 die configuration. I have a generic doubt of why LPDDR chips are manufactured in a way of different die configurations for the same memory capacity?
