Question New VMware Dev/Testing Build and Non-4K Gaming

I've built quite a few PCs in the past, but not for 10+ years....Considering switching back to custom build again.

I'm looking for Quiet Reliable Operations over the long-term.
Considered AIO Water Cooling, but I've never done that before and read it could be less reliable long-term and carries some risk. I could be persuaded but not sure.

I will be adding in (2) 3.5 HDDs for my VMs after....Just want to make sure I won't need any mounting brackets. (I do have spare SATA cables already....)

Why would you opt for 3.5 HDD over nvme or sata SSD? Are these really large drives.

The build looks fine. Do you need the video card for the VMs? That's not my expertise so not sure if a card like that is warranted.

Yes...They are very large drives and there tends to be massive amounts of writes between due to the nature of testing.
