Spec Me A $1100 (Or Less) 1080p Beast

PC Help

[UPDATED]
Please build me a 1080p based PC with a black and white theme if possible on PCPP.

Whenever I try to build one on PCPP I spend too much.

The budget is $1100, and please use the ASUS DUAL GTX 1060 6gb and a nice case with a tempered glass side panel.

Disregard all of the comments below, I had to use the same thread because the staff were triggered.

Make an MD thread to file your complaint. I will tell you here that you cannot have 4 different threads on
your computer builds.

This is not a hardware forum. It is for games. Post in General Hardware and answer the questions in your post.

OlyAR15 is correct. I've moved this thread to the 'General Hardware' forum where it belongs.

Just wondering if this PC is good for the money, or if I can save money somewhere, or increase the performance for a low cost. I am new to PC building/gaming.

Here is the link: {Newly Updated - Cooler/Fans}

Thanks!

Just to give you a piece of advice, so you can look at some reviews, but you don't want to build a Kaby Lake (7th gen) computer since Intel released Coffee Lake (8th gen). This generation has a big shift as their i5 CPUs now contain 6 cores, instead of 4 cores.

So you might want to read a review of the i5-8400 or i5-8600k. And finally, these new CPUs only work in Z370 motherbords (no Z170 or Z270).

Whm is right. 8400 is best for my money, and it comes with a perfectly good cooler. You won't need those two fans either, 8400+1060 runs nice and cool in a good case like the S340.

The first question that needs to be asked is what are you going to be doing with the machine? The second question is what is your budget?

I looked at micro center a while back and the combos were good. I will keep checking for some 8th Gen Processors w/ Z370 boards. Thanks.

I will be using it for gaming, work, productivity, light editing.

What is your total budget? If you would like I can spec you out what I feel would be the best system for your budget.
