Since two weeks I'm experiencing slow speeds on my laptop, the speeds of my other laptops are fine tho.

I'm not sure why this laptop suddenly has such low speeds, I didn't do anything out the ordinary. I'm not sure what is causing this, this laptop used to be as fast as all the other laptops I have.

I have the Windows 8.1 pro edition operating system installed on this laptop. The laptop itself is an Acer Aspire 5750G. The wireless network adapter driver installed is: "Qualcomm Atheros AR5B97 Wireless Network Adapter".

Look at your Windows Update history and device manger to see if there was a recent driver update in your wireless card.

Any recent AV or Firewall changes?

Have you run a malware scan recently?
