This is an anomaly, yes, but is this a sign of things to come? AMD's architecture was beyond its time and now with DX12 and improvements in software, their research is turning out to be future-proofed?

Nvidia released an updated driver 10 days ago that gave a pretty dramatic perf increase in f7. There's an f7 thread still on the first page where it was discussed at length
