TIL that Baby Shark is the most-viewed Youtube video of ALL TIME, coming in at over 16 billion views! It's estimated that they have pulled in $22 million from ads alone lol. With merch & other deals, they are estimated to have made ~$400 million from that 90-second video.

My nephews account for half of that lol


It went worldwide!

During 2019 protests in Lebanon, demonstrators surrounded a car in Beirut and, upon realizing the 15-month-old child inside was scared by the noise, spontaneously sang "Baby Shark" to calm him. The heartwarming scene, featuring dancing and singing from protesters, quickly went viral, turning the song into a symbol of joy and unity.

Crazy how HDDs just keep getting bigger. I remember reading many years ago that they were reaching the limits of how dense they can make them, but they just keep finding new ways to improve on it.

And how physical hardware keeps getting SMALLER! This is a 24GB P40 vs. a 24GB RTX 4000: (the smaller one is 500% faster overall lol)

This is my decade-old 11GB 1080 Ti vs. the Miniforum MS-01 Mini PC (i9 CPU + 128GB RAM) that I use for professional AI testing (which fits SFF GPU's, like the one above). Smaller than a LOTR book lol:

Oh wow so they're finally shrinking GPUs now? The last time I bought I felt they just kept getting bigger lol. I built a custom rackmount case for a mining rig and had to make it 7U's so I can fit my GTX 1070's in there lol. Never did end up finishing that rig as they were too hard to get.
