any one have a 775 mobo?

Yeah I have one

Intel Desktop Board DG965WH - motherboard - ATX - LGA775 Socket - G965.

It's fine from what I can remember, I got it through the Intel Retail Edge program and upgraded after about a year.

Let me know if you're still interested.

I have an old ASUS Crosshair III Formula motherboard. If anyone wants it just pay the shipping and it's yours. I have everything except the POST LED display.

I have a Santa Cruz Turtle Beach sound card (PCI) to give if anyone wants it. It was a pretty good sound card back in the day, but there are no Windows 7 drivers available as far as I can tell.

Time to see if someone wants this as a project.

Promise SmartStor NS4300N
The caveat: it needs a new power supply.
I ended up getting a good deal on a QNAP box, so never got around to replacing the PSU. One thing to note, most PSU's available were designed with PC's in mind, so there is an extra connector that you either have to some how shove inside or else cut it and carefully wrap the cut wires with electrical tape to avoid any accidental contact.

As a box, it was decent for use for network backup.
Streaming is ok, though I wouldn't suggest multiple clients.
Promise stopped support it a long time ago.

*PENDING*

Try something else...

Anyone have a spare 17-19 inch monitor (widescreen or not - preferably with a VGA port) that they would be willing to part with for free?

I've got one I'm currently using as a second display but it has this horrible yellowish tint to the whites that is driving me nuts.

Let me know...thanks in advance.

Hugh, just go to the closest electronics recycling center if you have one. I just helped someone dispose of several (albeit bulky) monitors this way - there were even more like this just sitting there when we arrived.

Hmm, cool idea for a thread. I could contribute:

-RAM sticks from old IBM/HP desktops, might be 128, 256 or 512 mb sticks.
-RAM, CD and floppy bays from 2005ish thinkpad
-300-350 watt PSU, from stock 2009-2010 HPe desktop

Not sure how useful these parts are for anyone else, though I know getting an old replacement part can be hell.

For free to a good home :

Old build :

Core 2 duo E6600 (?)
Gigabyte 965P-DS3
Antec 900
GeForce 260
2GB (?)
Rosewill 450W modular PSU

only needs a HDD and OS to be a fully functional PC

and extras

EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS
D-Link 10/100 PCI Adapter

All items worked perfectly last time I used them.

I haven't shipped something like this before, so I have no idea on costs, but the system in the 900 is pretty heavy. I would prefer a pick-up, but if you are interested in the items and need them shipped, just contact me and help me work out how to ship them.
