Obama Farewell Speech - PBS Youtube Live Stream

Very good speech. It was full of hope and about as non partisan as you can get. He had a great message that I hope resonates.
 
So proud to have had Obama as our president for 8 years. People forgot the hole that Republicans dug us into that Obama has dug us out of.
 
It surprised me that it was carried live on the three networks, all three major "news" channels (Fox,, CNN & MSNBC), CSPAN and PBS. (I hunted around looking for a channel without the horrible echo).

I don't recall anything but State of the Union Addresses, maybe inaugurations, having such universal coverage.

It was an excellent speech and really brought it home (to me at least) how much we are going to lose as a country in a few short days.

Past presidents were all covered. You just don't remember it because it was usually done from the white house and didn't garner the attention that Obama's did.
