I'm guessing probably not. Even the very small PCs from GPD can use the M.2-2280 size.

Toshiba BG4 is the first M.2 SSD at 2242 size and below (it is actually M.2 2230 and 16x20mm BGA ) with PCIe 3.0 x 4:
