AT2 24gb?
If that's true, 32GB seems likely like the previous Xbox series. 4×6/2 + 2×4/2 192bit 24GB(6×4) is allocated

more likely dev kit has 32gb
but real console will have only 24gb. that doesn’t require clamshell memory
This doesn't seem to be dev support, it's consumer support.

The console likely has 32GB on a 256bit bus in clamshell mode, or at least that's the current plan. I guess at some point they thought about going 48GB using 3GB chips in clamshell mode.

Though I think eventually there'll be 32Gbit GDDR7 chips (AFAIK the standard predicts up to 64Gbit per chip) and they'll use those for cost savings.

It's 192-bit. MS can't be normal so it's possible it has 8 3 GB chips and 4 2 GB.

4 GB is on the roadmap for GDDR7 but doesn't look like more than that.

I think there is a possibility that with RDNA 5 going from Q1 2027 to somehwere of 2H of 2027 then AMD uses 4GB Modules and change the planned lineup. AT2 w/ 24GB with the full die for $600 MSRP seems reasonable especially the AI Bubble bursts very soon?

It's a very niche (10%) x86 incompatible device in a laptop form factor that has got miniscule market share and lots of well established software can't run on it. It's mostly bought as a status symbol, which is what allows Apple to extra extra premium pricing
This is funny to me. This sort of thinking is exactly why Nvidia is so dominant in GPU.

Gamers think like this, a stuck mindset. They think AMD GPUs aren’t as good as Nvidia because of less software features.

Also if owning 10% of market makes something irrelevant, what does that make of AMD dGPUs who make up 5% and Intel even less?

This is based entirely on console mode, but I know that the XSX allocates 6GB and the XSS allocates 2GB separately, so wouldn't 8GB be enough?
I thought there was a separate window mode

CDNA5 should be doubled, because roughly on par with Rubin according to AMD's own slides.

MI355X does not feature sparsity for MXFP6 and MXFP4. So I assume the same for CDNA5.

It seems that sparsity may be necessary for inference.
I know that the mi455x is good at inference. I'm also thinking that it would be nice if it were 40/40
