3GB GTX 1060 Benchmarks?

Has any review site done benchmarks for the new $199 3GB version of the GTX 1060? I'm curious how much of a performance difference there is between the 3 GB and 6 GB cards.

Sounds like if you're buying for no more than a couple years @ 1080p its a decent choice. Otherwise, move on to more VRAM.

Yeah... everyone is basically saying "bad idea, buy something with more VRAM", but there are only a few benchmarks out there to back that claim up. It's pretty obvious that NVidia didn't hand out of a lot of these cards to reviewers.

they don't tend to use "all max" for no reason on their analysis of these cheaper cards, they gave it a fair test, in most cases 1080P with good settings it's no trouble, but they highlighted cases where it actually is a problem, it was pretty fair and not deceiving, overall the 1060 3GB is in a really strong position right now, you will be beating much more expensive 480 8GB most of the time in current games, but there is that limitation probably on future games, higher res or forcing higher texture quality and such...
