6700K at 1.15V -- should I bother with offset?

I am setting up a VR-centric ITX system for a friend and wanted to try undervolting to see if I can reduce temperature under load.

I tried various reductions and ended at 1.15 (with level 2 LLC in the AsRock Gaming ITX/AC board and Corsair H90).

I've read that using the offset voltage is more optimal for power savings but I'm wondering if it's really significant enough to bother with since this setting seems to be stable and is a good amount below stock. I'm not getting noticeable droop or overshoot under Prime which is nice.

I'm not planning to overclock.

I wouldn't mess with it, especially if it's a system for somebody else. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Mess with it. Offset is superior for systems that aren't running full load all the time - even those at stock clocks - altho a 6700k at stock is just sad.

Sad at 1.15V? I doubt that. That seems to be pretty decent voltage for 4/4.2.

Fiddle faster.

Just figure out the the diff between the VID and the 1.15V and and add a smidge for safety. Expect it will be on minus side, by a fair bit.
