Anyone plan on running in the PF Chang's Rock 'n' Roll AZ Marathon

PF Chang's Rock and Roll

I really want to do PF Chang's, but its not a cheap run. Cost for the marathon is 115 bucks. It'd be a blast to run though, 26 live bands and 40 high school cheer squads competing.

The Lost Dutchman

The Dutchman is half the cost, but its almost 50miles from where I live, a very long drive. And with the 0700 start time, buses to the start line only running until 0615, I'd probably have to leave my apartment no later than 0400 to ensure I get there on time. 🙁


Local 30K

I'll be running in this next week. Did the run last year, there were maybe 100 to 150 people total running in all the events combined. Easy course, and good food at the end though. 🙂

I was in AZ for the last PF Marathon...the weather was supposed to be around 60, but it was very very cold and a lot of people did not dress for it.

The year before that it was supposed to be around 60, and instead got up to 75-80. You can imagine.

Doesn't seem like a lot of long distance runners are around here.

I don't think I'll be able to do the Rock N Roll run, unless some unexpected funds materialize. I can't afford to dip into my emergency fund again, unless its for school.
