Question asus strix x99 gaming with ssd evo 970 m.2

Hello fellas.
I have asus strix x99 gaming,i7 6800k,32gb ram,asusgtx 1080gaming,corsair hx1050 powersupply
i have 1 samsung ssd 970 evo nme m.2 250gb&and i also have the 960evonme m.2 500gb
and also a samsung 850 evo 500gb
all new and i have to start the windows format ,i know i should use the 970 as the windows os runner but i also wanna use the 960 to load things
is it compatible?and what changes to i have the change at my motherboard to activate the 970 running my windows on fully mod?
sorry im just not that good with building,i just game a lot.
Will very appreciate anyone that can help me out asap so i can start

That board I am pretty sure only has one m.2 slot. You could use a PCIE adapter card to add the second one. Simply install windows to the 970 and then format the 960 when in windows.
 
But my motherboard does not recognize the 970 anywhere,i dont see any m.2 option or something
What settings should i have on my mobo to run it fast?

Been forever since I set mine up, but it was the only drive installed at the time and I booted off an USB drive to install Windows.
