Thank you!
(Not shown are all the photos that were bad lol)

TBH, I consider myself lucky if I get a one out of ten keeper ratio. The others have to go through another cycle of lucky charms washing them through post process and even then maybe only a couple of 'um will pass muster. I'm that bad at setting up and composing a shot I'd be pleased with after viewing it on a monitor at home. I really suck at it.

I think social media distorts the reality.

At least one professional photographer i follow made a video on how some days, he doesnt get any photos he considers up to par. I felt a lot better knowing that even pros have tough days too

I have to remind myself that some of my condor photo duds would have been Nat Geo material in the 60s and 70s and I’m just an amateur. The bar for good nature photos is so much higher now. I also have to remind myself that any photo of a condor is a miracle of a human passion to try to fix at least one thing we f’ed up.

You're right - I basically don't post when I don't feel like I have anything "good", but there are many shots I've taken since my last post. I'm pretty sure I shot 40-50,000 shots over the years with about 11,000 kept and 85 images with 5 stars. Lacking context, nobody on here would even look at them twice, let alone rate them 5 star, hahah.
