I want to know about the best motherboard for gaming. Moreover, the gaming motherboard that doesn't go out of order due to over heating.
 
Are we supposed to randomly pick out a motherboard with any socket? 😵

A lot more info is needed (like PC hardware and case). Pretty much any motherboard you are looking for will have a review out there letting you know all the pros, and cons.
 
i sense you prefer to support amd until they've claimed about 50% of the market share.
and assuming you have no budget contraints.
and assuming you realize the importance of a PS/2 port.

I'd recommend the Abit IP35-E and an E8400 combo it will overclock nicely and be just fine for Serious Sam The Second Encounter.

I have an Abit IP-35 Pro right now. Running strong since 2008. I'd buy another if they were still around. And I have the full Serious Sam collection as well. Spooky.
