Can anyone tell me what these are?

I wasn't sure where to post this but here it is. I have searched multiple times but can't find what they are. I have someone who clears out old offices and houses etc and he always has piles of tech stuff he gives me. 90+% goes to the recycler but I have gotten some cool stuff. He gave me a bunch of these and they all work but I have no idea what they are good for.

This item is a universal wireless remote control key fob, often used for garage doors, gates, or car alarms. Features 4 channels (labeled A, B, C, D) capable of cloning or copying signals from existing remotes.

How do I program it? I can't find any documentation.

If the barcode doesn't give anything useful, take one apart, and see if you can find something based on the chips. You could also try long pressing a button, and see if the mode changes based on the light. Or perhaps you could long press, then activate a known working thingy to see if it stores it. Just ideas I'd try. I have no first hand knowledge.
