Question Extracting Image attachments from Outlook PST File.

My wife has a HUGE collection of e-mails in Outlook 2007. I found that Systools has a program called Outlook Attachment Extractor.

I was wondering if:

1.) Has anyone used this before and does it do as claimed?
2. Is there an alternate method to get these attachments?

I used this program to batch rip images out of an iTunes database file with success. The program doesn't care what type of file is used for input as long as it's a binary. The images would be assigned sequential names, not retaining the original names.

Thanks for the info. I tried the demo and it seemed to work with the small limitation of only extracting a limited number of attachments for each file. It's only 29 bucks so I think I'll give it a go. I've been after her for years to save them as she gets them, but to no avail...

Well I ran the full version for my wives email and managed to get everything extracted with zero errors.
Ended up with 22,506 attachments. I saved them all to a folder on a thumb drive with a copy stashed on my computer Just in case... I left her the folder to sort through and figure out what she wants to keep and what she wants to trash...

Program works great! Well worth the 29 bucks. It did take a while to complete like 10 hours to sort through 36,000 emails.
