Seeking browser that continues playing media despite active tab losing focus

Been using the default Chrome browser that comes with Android on my tablet, but I'm annoyed at the way I can't switch browser tabs or apps without freezing playing video . Sometimes I'm listening to a podcast video, so I want it to function like a radio app and let me do other things on the tablet while it plays in the background.

I couldn't find any Chrome setting to control this behavior, so I'm hunting for other browsers that don't shut off playing media when you switch over to other tabs or apps. I haven't tried any other mobile browsers.

OR if you know the secret to changing Chrome's behavior ... that would suffice.
