I have a two laptop/docking station setup, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on a fix for audio crackling with the Arctis 7 headset. Here are the details:
Personal Laptop: Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model
Work Laptop: HP Elitebook 850 G6
The first docking station I used was a Wavlink UG69PD2. When the transmitter plugged into the dock, there was crackling with both laptops. Only resolution was plugging directly into the laptop.
I swapped out the Wavlink and I'm currently using a Lenovo ThinkPad dock (40AN0135). This resolved the crackling for my work laptop (HP), but there's still crackling with my Razer, meaning I have to plug the transmitter directly into the laptop.
Has anyone experienced/heard of a similar issue? Any ideas on how to fix it? It's a relatively minor thing, but it would just be one less thing I have to swap out.
