I ordered a 40" 4K UHD TV, with HDMI 2.0 and HDR, for $219.99, Newegg special. Seemed cheap enough. Hopefully it doesn't totally suck for PC usage. Want to replace my 24" monitor for desktop usage. I think a 40" will *just* fit on my desk.
Edit: Got it today (Weds). Not bad. YouTube 4K videos look ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I don't know if the videos are encoded with HDR, or if YouTube can even serve up HDR videos, or if the UHD HDR TV is processing the video, but they look... WOW!
I wish viewing text forums on Windows 10 was as good. I think that I boosted my res above 4K using AMD VSR, then adjusted the Windows scaling factor to 1.25x.
It has a built-in sharpening filter, that apparently, cannot be disabled in 4K video modes.
