So recently I've started to observe something really weird with my laptop. Whenever I start playing any game, I only am able to play for like 10 seconds and my WiFi gets disconnected and becomes invisible. As soon as I quit the game wifi gets reconnected.
If it didn't I need to restart PC disable and re enable WiFi.
Tried using my mobile hotspot and is the same issue. I used to use throttlestop to undervolt - 126mv but even that is locked now by a random asus bios update.
I literally am unable to play anything on my Lappy... Please help!

No self respecting gamer plays via wifi. Ethernet or nothing.
How redacted dumb are you. When someone posts a query try to answer it. If you dont know just go and sleep. Dont start the "REAL GAMER TALK" here even if you have any braincell left alive.
No one needs your justification here about how to be a real gamer. People post their issues to get help. Sometimes it can be serious for them too.

Not the same problem. But, I have this kind of issue related to my router. My router only works properly when connected to the laptop via ethernet cable. Did you check if your router working fine when connected to the laptop via ethernet cable?
Tried using ether net directly and ether net from the router. Had no disconnections. Issue only rises when using anything WiFi or even mobile hotspot

Just a note, sometimes, when a laptop heats up (and "gaming" laptops are known to do this), sometimes the wifi card heats up and disconnects too. I've had that happen in a cheap business-ish model Lenovo 15.6" laptop with a cheap RealTek N150 wifi card.

Edit: And I will echo that no self-respecting gamer should be playing over wifi.

On ebay there are WIFI cards for the ASUS TUF FX504 for about $10.

If it was my problem I would get one one and try to replace the current card.

😎

P.S. Mr. hentaiweeb I apologize for the bad taste experience that you got here.

Hopefull;y you would stick around, there are Very Good people with ample of knowledge in our forums.
