They will lose Iran opposition then, USA and Israel wants to balcanize the country. That won't look well at the end.

Israel wants that, the US (such as it is) and our gulf allies really do not want that. Having Yemen but 90M people strong with better access to weapons and loose HEU right next door is a very very unattractive proposition.

Actually Israel wants to balcanize Iran, Turkey, Egypt AND even Saudi Arab and they want to use the US for that purpouse.

Yes, longer term. Given the state of US public opinion on Israel I'm skeptical it's going to work out. They are dependent on our money and protection and required political support is evaporating before our eyes.

Whatever happens, I can hope the Iranian people won't be even further repressed by the same malignant regime in a country with broken infrastructure, even if that seems like the most likely outcome.

And the rules based world order is dead, long live it

Turkey's absolutely not gonna like this

Why would the Kurds do the US any favors after the US abandoned the Kurds in Syria the moment after the regime fell?

That's the issue. Kurds from Syria, Iran and Irak are not that far than the US thinks, even more, Kurds might make an alliance and BAM, 30 millions of Kurds causing chaos in Iran, Iraq and Syria, taking distance from Turkey.

Different Kurd groups. They are spread out over 4 different countries (Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran) and each wants to establish autonomy in their particular regions with the uiltimate goal of an independent Kurdistan. If one group gets stiffed by the US doesnt mean other groups wont continue working with them.

Insiders on Polymarket were betting up the odds of nuclear detonation before Polymarket pulled the plug due to public backlash.

There’s a non zero chance Kegseth and Trump are boasting about their desire to drop tactical nukes on Iran.

however they know that USA would betray them anyways, and even if USA wants to divide them, it won't work... is very likely that makes an alliance and causes more chaos than expecting.
