Actually RE7 does use Nvidia's HBAO+ and they are promoting the game pretty heavily: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/resident-evil-7-biohazard-pc-available-now

But his point was the game is running crazy awful compared to AMD like how AMD did awful at Project Cars release. 470 besting a 1070 is just wrong. Nvidia needs to get their stuff fixed and/or Guru3d is having some issues. My post with pcgh's benchmark shows that the 1070 there is doing better than a 480, so guessing guru3d is the one with more issues. Though even there a 470 4gb is close to a 1060 6gb.

I'm not seeing any place where the 470, or 480 is beating the 1070. I do see the Fury X is, until 4K is used (4Gb Vram issue?). The 980ti is also beating it.

Guru3d has redone their results a few times because their numbers were wrong. When I posted that the 470 was faster than the 1070.
